A bit about me...
I have been studying dance since the age of 3. After growing up taking part in Ballet, Contemporary Dance and Salsa classes I decided to give ' Belly Dancing' a try.
I trained in North London with 'Oriental Belly Dance' instructor Kristyna Kashvili from 1998 until 2009. Kristyna taught me to be a graceful yet vibrant dancer, using a mixture of dance influences she learnt from all over the world.
In May 2009 I began my teaching career at local studios and sports centres. I wanted to share all my influences with more students in hope that they enjoyed belly dancing as much as I do. In November 2009 I completed my Teacher Training Certificate with well known London performer and teacher Mia Serra I am now teaching under the Mia Serra School of Belly Dance.

Other inspiring influences along the way have been performers and teachers such as Tina Shaw, male belly dancer Ozgen, Master teacher and choreographer Yousry Sharif, Varya, Melissa Pina and Vashti.
I have performed in showcases such as Planet Egypt, Saqarah, Arabesque NightsbellyBliss at madame JoJo's, Sameera Shimmy Nights and BellyBliss, community festivals, Theatre productions and also danced in restaurants in Turkey and Tunisia. I danced in a Moroccan restaurant in West Hampstead every weekend for 1 year.
My classes are energetic and fun and aim to teach you the broken down basic movements of belly dance; how to isolate your hips, arms and upper body and combine movements that can be used in choreography and performance.
'Bellydance Belles' is the name I have given to my belly dance troupe, which is open to all students who wish to perform.
I am also co-founder and Artistic Director of recently established belly dance duo 'Dunya' along with beautiful Turkish/American fellow dancer Michelle 'Deniz' Drouse. Check our website for performance details and events. In May 2010 we performed at the Turkish Delight Festival in Istanbul, where we took workshops from a variety of teachers. We perform at charity events, weddings, showcases, hen parties and corporate events.
